About

Soulflower’s Owner, Emily Dreblow, brings an attention to detail, creative vision and commitment to ‘greater good’ unsurpassed in the floral design industry. Since 1995, Emily has been creating works of art inspired by the sensual nature of flowers and plant materials. During the past fifteen years, Emily has worked with high profile clients, venues and corporate entities to translate their vision, branding and personality into impeccable floral and event design.

While mentored by premier floral designers in San Francisco and Minneapolis, Emily found her unique and modern sensibilities to include textured, organic materials as well as found objects and reclaimed or recycled elements. Inspired by art mediums such as sculpture, expressive arts and mixed media, Emily approaches each project with imagination, innovation and a critical eye for translating each individual client’s style and aesthetic. Emily’s creativity has a deep awareness for our environment within a contemporary framework.

Prior to operating a successful floral business, Emily served in various capacities in the non-profit industry as a Program Director at Huckleberry Youth Programs and Development Officer for Streetside Stories and served on the Mayor-appointed Advisory Board for the Children’s Fund.  Emily’s skills in program management, fundraising and fiscal management coupled with a bachelor’s degree from Brown University has propelled Soulflower Floral Design to the forefront of the floral design industry.  Emily continues to be active with Root Division, Huckleberry Youth Programs and Tipping Point Community.  In addition, Emily is a member of the Bay Area Wedding Network, International Society of Event Specialists (ISES) and the Green Chamber of Commerce and co-founder of Couture Weddings of the Bay Area.
